Tough, mud-free tracks built for tractors, trailers and livestock lorries — so your farm keeps moving whatever the weather.

  • Heavy-duty sub-base construction
  • Recycled planings or tar & chip finishes
  • Cattle-grid and gateway areas
  • Yard and apron surfacing

Built for heavy traffic

Farm tracks carry tractors, trailers, feed lorries and livestock lorries. We specify geotextile, deeper stone layers and proper camber so the track doesn't rut or puddle.

Finishes

Recycled road planings are the most cost-effective. Tar and chip seals the surface and stops dust and mud. Tarmac suits yards and aprons around buildings.

Gateways, yards and cattle grids

Gateways and turning areas take the most damage, so we strengthen them. We can also build in cattle grid bases and concrete aprons.

Drainage

Grips, cut-off drains and culverts stop water running down the track, which is the most common reason farm tracks fail.

Timing

We plan work around harvest, lambing and other busy times, and keep access open wherever we can.

Questions

What's the cheapest durable track?

A well-built stone base finished with rolled planings is usually the best value. Tar and chip on top adds sealing and grip.
